NEW NEW DATE: February 24th 6-10pm: Santa Barbara MKP and Woman Within 5th Annual Holiday Gathering and FUNraiser

If you have already bought tickets they are still valid. Ticket holders will get an email. Please confirm that you are attending. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating your tickets. If you’d prefer a refund please contact James at jwapotich@yahoo.com directly.

If you have haven’t gotten your tickets, NOW is the time! Tickets can be purchased at https://santabarbara.mkpusa.org/

Although Pacifica’s Ladera campus was not directly impacted by the flooding and debris flow, the campus is currently without water and electricity, it is within the mandatory evacuation area as well as the public safety exclusion zone, there are no publicly accessible roads open to the site, and Highway 101 doesn’t look like it will be open in the next week. There has been no clear indication as to when these conditions wil l change.
There is also a sense that right now may not be the best time to hold the Holiday Gathering, but that holding it and gathering in the near future is important. That drawing together as a community and reconnecting is worthwhile and needed. The gathering is tentatively being rescheduled to Saturday, February 24th, at the Santa Barbara Veterans’ Memorial Building based on their available dates.
Ticket holders: once the new date is confirmed your ticket purchase will still be valid. I will send out an update next week with the different options, including refunds.
Room reserva tions: if you made a room reservation, please contact Pacifica directly for a refund at retreat@pacifica.edu.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Thanks again for being flexible and rolling with the unexpected changes caused by the fire and the mudslide.

Santa Barbara MKP is partnering with Woman Within Western USA and gathering our two communities together. We will be celebrating the holidays and the vital work of our two organizations.

Join us for this great social gathering at the Veteran’s Memorial Building, 112 W Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA. This is a chance to catch up with friends old and new from all over the tri-county region, as well as get to meet the friends and family of our two organizations. That is a lot of amazing people all in one room!

That right there is enough for a great event. But wait, we’ve added in a lot of cool stuff.

*Dinner catered by Chef Ray Sutton
*Live Jazz Music by the ManKind Trio
*Community Awards & Recognition
*Silent auction with lots of great donated items
*Dancing! with DJ Marcelino

The money raised by MKPSB and Woman Within goes to support scholarships, outreach, and the ongoing vitality of our communities.

To donate an item to the silent auction contact Doug Thomas, doug@dougnjody.net, or Veda Kaplandevelopmentdirector@womanwithinwesternusa.org.
